  • Visitors may want to bring cash for booths selling food, beverages, and souvenirs.

  • Prepare for unpredictable Alabama weather by wearing sunscreen or a rain jacket.

Yes, the 2017 Maxwell AFB Open House/Air Show is open to the public.

The airshow will have the latest state of the art security to ensure the safety of all attendees.  Attendees will be asked to go through security before entering the airfield area.

Parking is available on base with more than 20,000 spots available.  Additional parking will also be available at the Cramton Bowl (220 Hall Street, Montgomery, AL 36104) in downtown Montgomery.

Buses will be available to transport attendees from Crampton Bowl to the base and will run from 8am-6pm.

No smoking in the airfield area.  However, there will be designated smoking spots outside the airfield area.

Handicap parking will be available close to the airfield to accommodate the special needs of these who require handicap support.  Additionally, there will be handicapped bathrooms and bleachers available.
